We offer a variety of plastic and metal faucets for toes and/or heels. Shoe Toe Taps The faucet serves as an additional protective layer for the two areas that wear the fastest in normal use: the tip of the sole and the outer edge of the heel. For women’s shoes, please note that the heel faucet cannot be applied to stiletto heels. As for men’s shoes, we also provide metal tips built into the tips of the soles, instead of nailing the faucet to the tips of the soles, we call them French metal tips.
Metal plugs for leather-soled shoes extend the life of these shoes by preventing the “toes” of the soles from wearing out.
The job is to remove the main part of the sole base and fix the metal plate in place with screws. This “toe touch” is flush with the bottom of the leather sole and the sides of the hem. Therefore, unless you are looking directly at the sole, it is still not visible.
